Greetings all

And yes as i promised its one of the loyalist sons of the Emperor of Mankind, Lion El'Jonson. I picked the Lion because i think i have a good knowledge of his background, he was presented a handful of times in the Horus Heresy series.
Jumping to the sketch… i wanted to do something a little bit different than the first three pieces. i wanted to draw a scenery adding some story elements to the work. So i thought of a couple of moments that are the most dramatic (in my opinion) in the Lion’s life. i choose the moment where the watcher in the dark are surrounding the Lion in his final moments.

The image still needs a lot more exaggeration. A lot more work to be done before starting painting it :S

The best image of Lion I ever seen :D . I tried to paint Lion, but he don't look so heroic like your Lion (( Even if I use photos of actor Vladimir Kulich as model.)

yes i believe that part of the Primarch project is to render portraits fair to the heroes they represent >_<

I myself have thought about painting the Primarchs but im put off by the sheer detail their armour contains. Something you incorporate well in your works. Please check out my space marines, let me know what you think!;)

Thanks for looking pal , yeah Doomish fits my work about right! I have loads of unfinished 40k work, just finding the time to finish them. I will post some more soon.

well i am working on the Lion right now... but my tablet is giving me some hard time and i think i have to format my PC ... yeah its that time of the year where every thing starts to crash and lag.
will be posting updates on the piece asap :D
